It's a fantastic way to try new series, and if we do decide to get into something, there's a small discount for buying titles.ĬU does have a nice little selection of both Marvel and DC stuff, and reading the collected volume of a crossover on CU is much less painful than tracking down the individual issues in the proper order on MU or DCU (looking at you, Spider-Verse). We both like CU mostly for the non-superhero stuff from other companies. We feel we get great value out of all three services. DCU is for me I'm enjoying reading all the stuff I was interested in but couldn't afford at the time. MU is for my wife she tears through the new stuff every week, and regularly reads any and all the X titles. Our household has Comixology Unlimited, Marvel Unlimited, and DC Universe. Would love to hear thoughts on this, and of course bias is welcome considering I’m on the comiXology subreddit.

I realize this might be subjective, but are there folks who find value in subscribing to both at the same time? I am enjoying the Marvel comics on MU but the iPad app is a bit slow sometimes, and for ComiXology I just finished Batman: Hush and loved it, though realized there are plenty of related Hush stories I would have to buy separately (so I might find similar issues with other comics I’m reading). From what I’ve read so far I think ComiXology Unlimited and Marvel Unlimited are two of the best places to subscribe, so I’m trying free trials for both. I’ve decided I’d like to invest in digital comics (mainly using an iPad) and am very interested in reading both Marvel and DC. Long time lover of Marvel and DC, though I never really got the chance to read comics growing up, mainly trying to absorb stories through Wikipedia and from the movies.
